Paon – French for peacock, is a gorgeous bird. It uses a lot of its biological resources to grow six feet long feathers that end up making up 60% of its total body length, all so that it can flaunt its aesthetic value to find a mate and pass on its genes. For us, Paon is a metaphor for how some humans can too put in a lot of effort, perhaps their whole life’s work into making something beautiful. As if it is their life’s purpose.
Our magazine explores the many ‘peacocks’ of the world – the artists, the architects and the designers who by pure evidence from the work they produce, are dedicated to creating equisite art no matter the purpose.
We hope you enjoy Paon as much as we do producing it.
